SHEOR OF THE MONTH
The Sheor for September is Ritual Uncleanness By Prince Kezaredar
.
May The Holy One of Yisrael bless our minds and efforts as we strive to bring forth His perfect Law.
There are many different types of ritual uncleanliness and all the laws cncerning each should be followed to the best of one’s ability in this captivity. The first reference to these laws is found within the tenth chapter of Vayikra (Lev.) Here the Almighty says, “I will be sanctified through those who are nearest me, thus I will be honored before all the people”.
In Vayikra 10:3 we see that Yah wants to be respected when we attempt to come in His presence. The leaders of the Creator's people, are to position themselves throuh obedience to be those who are nearest to Him, and when invoking His presence we should be as ritually clean as possible. Next the Vayika 10 reads not even to drink intoxicating wine when coming into the tent of meeting (the place where the Creator's presence would appear.) This is a decree for your generations, to distinguish between the holy and the profane and between the unclean and the clean. All of the decrees that Yahowah has spoken through Moshe must be taught to the children of Yisreal.
In the Vayikra 11, the Creator begins to elaborate about the different types of food that will cause us to be unclean. After identifying in detail what foods defile us, He then ends giving a direct command “you are to sanctify yourselves and you shall be Holy for I am Holy.” The word hipael in Hebrew means a self inflicted situation - something that one causes to happen to oneself, further in verse 47 it reads "all this is done to distinguish between the unclean and the clean."
In Vayikra 12 a woman that has a child is now required to remain separated for a period of time while she is unclean. She may not touch anything Holy sand she is not permitted to inter into the sanctuary until the completion of her days of purification. Remember, the Most High said "be ye Holy as I am Holy," and this includes the individuals that have been set aside to do the services of Yah which are primarily performed on the Shabbat Day according to Bereshet 2:3 and Vayikra 23:1. The sanctuary mentioned here is neither the Holy Of Holies nor the tabernacle, it is the complete dedicated site.

Shemot (Exo) 25
1 And YAHOWAH spake unto Moshe, saying, Speak unto the children of Yisrael, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering. And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass, And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair and rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood, Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense, Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate. And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
