TORAH BASED ANSWERS

Question 8/28/09: Please provide scriptures that indicate that we should not approach the Most High when we are in an unclean state.
Leviticus 10:10 states
"Ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean. And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses."
Leviticus 15-31 states
"Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them."
The word here which is being interpreted among them could also be interpreted in them. If this is true, then Yah could be trying to tell us not to make unclean those who are nearest to him. We are trying to understand the Great Scriptures of Old, but we are not allowing the Scriptures to speak, because our stubbornness and love for tradition does not allow the spirit of the Most Holy One to speak through them.
Leviticus 10:3 states
"Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that YAHOWAH spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace."
When we dedicate our houses or buildings to The Most Holy One, they are set aside just for the purpose of worshipping YAHOWAH, we should always try to keep these places as clean as possible just out of respect for Yah, both physically and spiritually they shall be clean for worship. These places or houses of worship are Holy and should be treated as such.
Exodus 19:6 states
"And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel."
The Most Holy One gave to us a Law to allow us to be prepared to take on this job of being a kingdom of priest and a Holy Nation to him.
